9 week old ds v sleepy and green poo - could it be a reaction to jabs?

My 9 week old had his first jabs yesterday. All today he's been really sleepy, waking up a couple of times to feed a little bit then crying a bit until he goes back to sleep. He's also had either fluorescent green poo or sort of spinachy poo (sorry for TMI...) Should I be worried? More worried, I mean, I am slightly worried already (PFB) - it's just really unlike him to sleep so much and eat so little (am leaking all over the place - have gone through two breast pads already...! aaaand TMI again...)

Is it likely to be a reaction to the jabs?

The sleeping thing is totally normal. I wouldn't expect it to last very long- my baby (and several others I know) was knocked out for a day or two tops. In fact, I knew to expect it so planned to catch up on the housework!

The greeny poo means he's a bit dehydrated due to not feeding but I wouldn't panic overly, just keep offering milk when he wakes, maybe waking him for milk if it is getting really long (more than four hours or so?- depends on his usual pattern). I'd be surprised if things aren't better in a day or two. Let us know.

Green poo normal. Unlikely to be caused by jabs directly but by the sleepiness. It means not taking so many feeds, meaning you're fuller, meaning more foremilk. Lots of foremilk can equal green poos.

What to do about it?

Nothing. Your baby will recover from the jabs and maintain harmony with your boobs automatically!
