The title says it really. DS is a small 9 months and has had a horrible chest infection for about 5 weeks. Dr diagnosed bronchiolitis on Monday and put him on a second stronger dose of antibiotics. he's been ok in himself and is still at nursery but they just called to say he has now got a v high temp. surgery said to bring him in but will they send him to hospital? Does this sound like it coule be pneumonia? Hes only 2nd centile and already struggling with allergies. i feel frantic and terrible about sending him to nursery, even though dr said on Monday no reason not to.

Personally I would call NHSDirect or your doc straight away.

If your GP is expecting you immediately, then go there. Maybe he'll need to go to hospital.

I would also call the GP now, if they are closed then call NHS direct. They may send him to the hosital if the doc hears anything on his chest.
