Baby boy will be 4 wks on Fri... really painful wind causing him to shriek and pull legs up/thrash about. Last 2 days given infacol but that seems to have made it worse. Before that he would thrash and bring up legs and be in discomfort, but last 2 nights (since infacol) been in more pain it seems. Don't know whether to persevere with it and see if it improves or not.
He fed last night from 5pm til 10.30 (every 50 mins or so)and would fall asleep on breast... but when I put him in cot he would scream. It def is wind - but don't know what to do about it. I am exhausted.
any advice would be great.
THANK YOU

DS1 was like this, so I really sympathise with you.

I didn't find Infacol any help at all TBH, but gripe water was a godsend. It was like a real life miracle. He would gulp it off the spoon (soft plastic one) smile and settle instantly.

I know you can't give it to tiny babys, but think it's OK from either 4 or 6 weeks- sorry it was a while ago, can't quite remember, but I do vividly remember the relief it brought to all of us.
