Children's skin heals very quickly (faster than an adults). Was it possible to use steristrips?

They do itch when healing by the way.

don't pick the scabs, just let them heal and drop off

vit e oil as you say (open oral capsules and use that) or bio-oil are good once the wound is healed

DD bashed her face horrendously when little and I was convinced it would scar, but it didn't

no as under eye not enough space for grip plus would remove them anyway

and yes probaby itchy so he is rubbing

still all red so also anything to help rednessgo down?

It does take time i'm afraid. The redness will fade eventually. Just keep it clean and watch out for infection. Try some bio oil once the scab is off and it's no longer bleeding.

Did you complain to the shop by the way? health and safety sounds very poor if a child is able to hurt themself like this.
