Just read thoroughly horrid stuff on the internet as to why and need a little advice. When he burps it smells like sulphur, can anyone help?

LOL - yeah you gave birth to the anti-christ

ONLY KIDDING - kids do smell a bit odd when they burp. Their stomachs are full of sulphuric acid -that's why. He probably has a touch of reflux - he'll grow out of it. Prop him up after feeds and wind him extensively.

He may get to the big puke stage soon. That is such fun (DS has just grown out of it thank goodness).

OMG, ds1 had plenty of vomit...until he was old enough to have soya. I would often adorn a arm and half chest full of puke.
He winds really well but smelly.

Thanks I feel much better.

DS had this for a week at the same time as horrible stomach bug. It did smell like he'd turned into Lucifer. I think the explanation i found was that babies do not have fully developed gut flora - all the good bacteria etc - and so get worse problems than adults.
