Morning, DD 14 months old, over the past two days her poos have been a very light yellow colour (like a sand colour) and they have smelt very sour, and are runnier than usual (sorry TMI). Her appetite has decreased slightly. She is not pooing any more often. She seems in good spirits although possibly a little bit more tired. Just wondered what I should be doing? should I feed her as normal or be giving her/not giving her anything in particular. For breakfast this morning I have given her toast and water instead of porridge/fruit/juice.

good idea. keep it plain and simple, give lots of water, if you feel she is dehydrated you could try her with dioralite.

You could have a think about her diet to make sure you are giving her the right balance of things, but if her poo has normally been ok, then I am sure that's not the problem.

She'll be fine.

And you'll become so very very familiar with poo, types of poo and examining poo for signs of ill-health. joys of parenthood.

My DD is having the same poos exactly..she is 2. She has also had vomiting and a fever though, but I do think there are a lot of sickness bugs going around at the moment.
