Ds1 (8) has had bouts of feeling faint he goes so pale his lips are white. This has happened mainly at dr's or hospital but happened a few weeks back when out for day. He'd been running down hill and we were just walking ot a nice italian and he went all funny and pale and dizzy. It also happens in the car but think that is motion sickness.

He is generally an active kid, plays rugby for a club and loves to cycle. He does get out of breath easily and they queried asthma but he hasnt needed an inhaler for over a year and not even sure when he did have one that he really needed it.

He suffers from lots of coughs, colds etc and has had tonsils out. Currently has earache.

Sorry to ramble on but just feeling 'niggly' about this fainting thing. Any ideas or experience?

IF it's happened a few times I would definately take him.

It could be a number of things, but I would definately get it checked out.

I am no medic, but I would take him to the Drs if he were mine.
