How long did teething pain last for with your DCs first teeth?

DD is 6 months and her first front (bottom) tooth started coming through a week ago. Her second tooth has now started to come throught too. She's has several disturbed nights but last night was terrible; she was waking every 10 minutes or so screaming; Calpol bought her a couple of hours of relief but I don't want to give her too much. Both teeth are now visible - is the pain likely to last much longer for her? Thanks in advance

to be honest once they start coming others will follow so very likely there all moving around under gums but not visable yet ds seemed to be teething forever i have to admit as came through one after the other

nurofen was so much better for teething pain but do give it when needed as it is so painful for them and will allow her to be comfortable and happy again

ashton and parsons teething powder is great and bonjela cool is so releiving just keep teething gel and nurofen going and you should see big difference with ds even if he was asleep 4 hrs later i slowly syringed another dose of nurofen so pain didnt wake him and found this worked great
