has anyone managed to order the new matchattax 2008/09 yet?

i know, i know,but has anyone managed to get them yet? TOPPS themselves are telling me that you can only order certain things over the phone from them but most things aren't out until May 09.However,ds1 tells me some of his mates have already got them...don't know what to believe...release date was meant to be yesterday.he watched the clock on the MATCH ATTAX SITE in anticipation after school yesterday and when it stopped....nothing happened!!!!

My son had some come free with his Match of the Day magazine this week so that might be where your ds's mates have got them from. We have tried all shops in our town and none have any stock yet - he is driving me mad asking if we can go and look every day so I feel your pain!!!

Oh yes London1,he did get some in a mag last weekend too.Good luck with it...glad i'm not the only one!!!!!

We just bought ten packs in Woolworths this afternoon - they are now 40p a pack. Ds also bought a match magazine with a free packet attached...no sign of the folders yet though...he'll have me plagued 'til we get one.

Got the whole starter pack in WHSmiths today. It was behind the counter and I had to ask, thought they would be everywhere. DS1 has been waiting for this too.

Got the starter pack in Asda today - I am officially mad.
Didn't realise that the packs of cards had increased in price to 40p.
Need DS to be really good at weekend now so that I can give it to him.

woman in there said she's already going crazy with them....seeing them in her sleep etc!
some woman had already been in to buy a full box....this was at 9am yesterday morning

Ds1's got the book and a few packets in the starter pack I think. We've been trawling around newsagents today but they've all sold out already.
