GP app. @ 5 but what can I do until then? I have wiped it with a cotton wool pad (one pad one wipe at a time)but it keeps oozing. I hought it was sleep at first but there is loads. & swelling , mostly at the side. Sorry for random post, feeding/one handed. If it's an infection what could have caused it? Do I need to keep him in?

Are you breastfeeding? If so, aim some breastmilk into his eye, that's supposed to be very good.

I thought that, but then wasn't 100 % sure so thought I wouldn't chance it? Squirt and leave?

I used to jsut wipe it with plenty of ebm on cotton wool. Make sure you use seperate for each eye.
