Ds(11yrs) has had problems with his feet and been under a physio since the age of 3. He was diagnosed with flexible flat feet which had to do excersises for daily. However previous to the holidays he was in agony with his knees to the extent of painkillers and heat pads. I phoned his physio and he saw her this week. He has been diagnosed now with anterior knee pain syndrome and we were told its to do with him growing ect. He has been given new stretching excersises that really hurt him. We are seeing his physio again in six weeks to see how he is going with it. i just wondered if anyone else has any experience with this and any helpful information please.

AKP stems from a biomechanical cause, unfortunately there are many of these. Has your DS had a recent growth spurt?
