health professionals who may know, how long will dd's hand hurt for and how long can i give her calpol safely for?

am still giving it every 4hours as directed on sunday at the first hospital. how many days can she carry on with this dose? she is due to see the plastics team again on monday.

how long will it hurt for?

What happened, Misdee? What does it say on the side of the Calpol box? If she's still in pain, I'd carry on with it, with the dose recommended. Which of the DD's is it?

i wasnt told how long to give it for. just to carry on giving it.

Oh, the poor little monkey. She must be in agony. Here's from the Calpol website Best wishes. (BTW from your AN group, i have Sylvia the same age as S.)

Ouch! It'll probably hurt for a good few days more.

GI would advise to gradually reduce it down to an as-needed dose in 3-4 days' time.

ah right. i did say i was sleep deprieved.

now do i get her dressings changed as they are filthy, or wil lthey want them left alone?
