...she had a chest infection (crackles in chest, according to GP) in mid July, and was given a week's course of ABs. Cough never quite went away, but the last two weeks its been back with a slightly runny nose, no fever or illness, and her poor little body shakes with it at times. Its only occasional, but sounds really horrible - should I take her back to GP??

She does have mild, virus triggered asthma, but it sounds wetter than an asthma cough, IYKWIM. I'm giving her her blue and brown inhalers atm anyway, just in case, but doens't seem to help.

ds has asthma, I'm supposto take him to the GP if he has a cough like this for longer than 2 weeks. I would take her back for some more antibiotics.

My ds had a cough for weeks, and needed a stronger dose of AB to knock it on the head. He was being sick he was coughing so much.
