3yo won’t leave the toilet at night/bedtime

This is a new one on me… 3yo been dry at night for ages. If she needs the loo at night, she’ll wake me, we’ll go to the loo, she’ll go back to bed, all good.

However, this week, she won’t go back to sleep! Says she needs the loo again. And again. She doesn’t “do” anything after the first trip. Just tonight at bedtime she nearly fell off the toilet as she was so tired but she kept saying she needed a wee!

(I thought uti maybe but she’s been totally fine all week during the days)

I don’t think she’s being naughty, and she doesn’t appear happy about sitting on the loo endlessly. I have literally no ideas what to do… Leave her there? Lift her off and say she doesn’t actually need the Ioo? (She cries if I do this).

Yep threadworms
Worth checking for UTI too, although less likely of she’s ok during the day
