How much weight has your 5 year old gained in a year?

My daughter is just about to turn 5- this month and I have just realised from looking at her growth charts she has gained less than 0.5kg in the past year. She has gained 6cm was 101cm now 107cm.
she was 15.1kg last October and is 15.5kg now.
She eats well, lots of variety of food. Eating is one thing we have never worried about with her but the stagnant weight seems a bit strange or is this common at this age?
I am naturally a small frame so it could just be she is like me which is why I am asking here probably rather than going to the gp straight away.

Where is she on the growth charts, is she still on the same percentile line or has she dropped?

My son is 5 and has gained around 2.5kg over the last year he is 23kg now (could partly be due to me passing my driving test 7 months ago so we do alot more driving than walking now 🫠)

She is lower centiles now was around 30th now 5th-10th for weight. She is active but not extraordinarily so- she goes to the park or a bike ride after school or does a class.

It doesn't hurt to get her checked over by the GP but wouldn't be overly concerned. Also weight gain isn't linear and it might be that she is due a growth spurt.

My daughter is under paeds and dieticians for allergies and reflux and her weight gain has slowed since staring school at 4. At 4 she was 15.4 kg for her paeds appointment, at 4 and 10 months she was 16.2 kg at the dietitian, paeds review at 5y 5m she was 16.4kg and we started discussing supplements having only gained 200g in 7m. We saw the dietician again at 5 and 10 months and she was now 16.8kg. She has milkshakes on prescription now, the dietician calculated that she probably has a deficit of about 500kcal a day and the shakes provide her with 300 kcal of these (when we can get her to drink them).

She has a lot of allergies but also has feeding issues due to picky eating as well. They aren't overly concerned as she does have a lot of energy and her height is still going up. She was 95.4cm at 4 and at her last dietician appointment she was 106cm. They would however like to stabilise her weight on a percentile now that she has had 2 years of slower than expected weight gain. They are monitoring her BMI rather than her weight chart as she is moving up the percentiles for height (gone from 1st to 5th since aged 3) and dropped from just under the 50th to just under the 9th for weight in the same time frame. This means that there has been more noticeable trend when you plot her BMI and she has now just crossed a 3rd percentile for BMI

It is a common age for weight to slow a bit as they are often lot more active especially after starting school and appetites don't always match up! My daughter has zero interest in food and still has Easter eggs left and hasn't eaten all of the sweet cone she got at her birthday party a month ago.

@Superscientist my dd actually eats really well, I think anyway. She eats a good variety of fruit and veg. I always add nut butter to her morning porridge or she has Greek yoghurt with fruit and nuts. She has peanut butter and no added sugar jam on seeded bread after school or apple and peanut butter. And dinner is just standard food like a homemade curry then another yoghurt for dessert probably. She definitely doesn’t turn down chocolate or sweets if offered.
It looks like her weight was 22nd centile last year and 9th this year according to the NHS bmi calculator for children.
