Where can I find 2g glycerin suppository on the high street?

I can only find it online.

Could I perhaps slice an adult 4g one in half?

We got it from boots op. Ask the pharmacist they usually keep it behind the counter.

I’ve just phoned three Boots including a huge one, and a supermarket pharmacy, and none of them stock it. Oh dear 😞

Do you have a local independent pharmacy? Is there a reason you can't buy online? If it's a timing thing you can probably get next day delivery on Amazon prime.
