Experiences of newborn eye misalignment or ocular immaturity improving over time

Can anyone tell me of their experience with baby ocular misalignment/ocular immaturity that resolved itself? I have a nearly 4 week old who has eyes that stray outwards, but have been told it is likely ocular immaturity. What does the trajectory to better look like?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Is that a fancy name for cross eyed? Because all 3 of mine were as newborns. They’re not any more. No surgical intervention or eye patches required

Well my son's eyes deviate slightly outwards rather than in (not necessarilyat the same time). I think cross-eyes do typically tend to resolve during the first few weeks right? I'm not so sure about my son's eye misalignment. We're they slow and gradual to resolve, or did it resolve quite quickly? Tell me more as to what the experience was like for you @Fatiguedwithlife

Maybe best to speak to your health visitor if you’re concerned
