My Dd14 has had regular periods for the last 2 years. The last couple of months they have lasted a couple of weeks and this month she is now 3.5 weeks in. She is pretty heavy and clotty but not big clots. ( This is the norm for her)
She is absolutely fine in herself, no tiredness or dizziness.

Is it actually worth trying to get a doctors appointment for this? Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with their DD. Not sure what a doctor can do?

Yes. Get it on her medical records now. Make sure you/she are tracking. I have two DDs with different issues: one is now on mini pill to stop bleeding entirely; the other waiting to be taken seriously but it helps we can say: please check her notes. She had this problem in 2021: again in 2022 etc.
