Does this look like the start of a cold sore on my son's lip?

Does this look like the start of a coldsore? Im freaking out, its on my sons lip?

It’s hard to tell from the pictures, is it blistered?

I don’t think it looks like a cold sore, I get them and they usually blister before they scab. Could be have bit his lip or is it just a bit dry?

Its not blistered, I'm wondering if its chapped maybe, just looks red like this

Does he say it’s hurting or tingling? That can be early signs.
Annoyingly only time will tell

He could have just pulled a sliver of dry skin off.

I’d say he’s just got dry/sore lips. I don’t think it’s a cold sore x

Yeah hopefully not, hes had a cold and has been constantly wiping his nose and mouth a lot so hoping its just that x
