The scab looks huge because of where it is, it's actually the size of a lentil.
Ds (aged 17) has autism and rubs his eyes when stressed. One eye is ok but the other one has little cuts on the skin on the bottom of his eyelid and a scab that looks huge because of where it is.
NHS website suggests it is dermatitis and I should persuade him to stop rubbing it. Which I've been trying to do for about 13 years. I've been keeping an eye on it and it doesn't seem infected at the moment.
I don't want to use up a gp appointment over something trivial but he's had it once before and it ended up becoming cellulitis.
