Pretty much what it says on the tin! I know little ones can be prone to developing lactose intolerance after a stomach upset but he has soy milk due to CMPA so that can't be the issue. It's been a week now and he's barely eating either, I'd feel a lot better if he was getting some hydration and calories via milk but he just won't touch it. GP said yesterday he was likely a bit dehydrated so we are syringing water in to top off what he's taking of his own volition.

It's making bedtime an absolute nightmare. Milk before bed has always been the routine - he doesn't feed to sleep but it's the last thing we do before going upstairs for sleeping bag etc. I think because that's missing he's been awake until 9pm or so the past few nights despite being exhausted. We've tried offering a bottle or a cup of water instead but he's not interested. Also tried some milky Weetabix or yoghurt but because his appetite is shot he won't touch that either.

The actual diarrhoea only lasted about 24 hours and he was only sick the once. I'm desperate for some light at the end of the tunnel!

No wisdom to share I’m afraid but hope he feels better soon. I came on here to see if there were others dealing with sickness. My kids have had a stomach bug recently and it has suppressed their appetite massively and they still have tummy aches. We’re giving them little sips and bites of whatever they can manage and I assume the appetite will come back when their stomachs can handle it. They are managing to keep drinks down thankfullly though so not dehydrated. Hope your DS gets well soon.
