Baby seizures - leaving them with someone else

Hi all, baby has recently been diagnosed with a non serious genetic condition - turns out it runs in the family but no one knew. Unfortunately it causes absence seizures, nothing brain/developmental going on thankfully and he is expected to grow out of them in a few years, he doesn’t have many seizures (on meds) and due to start nursery in the next few months, however I haven’t left him with anyone other than his dad, and I don’t want to because I’m scared incase he has a seizure. The seizures don’t last long and hospital said he doesn’t need rescue meds, myself and DH been given instructions/first aid what to do in the event of a seizure, but the thought of DS having one and me not being there is making me feel sick. I’m contemplating not sending him to nursery. Any advice please?

Speak to the nursery and they will make a medical / care plan of how they can manage his condition
school will be the same
speak to providers now so you can get a sense of which can take care of him
