Hi,
my LO was diagnosed with CMPA when he was 4 weeks old. He was on pepti 1 & 2 milk, he still has it now. He struggled with a good few months of constipation however recent since the beginning of June he’s been having loose nappies throughout the day causing him to have severe nappy rash.
He is still dairy free and has soya alternative could this be the reason he’s nappy’s are bad? I did think ceoliac as they smell sour and very acidic.

when do toddlers have “normal” poos and is there any advise at all. Thank you
from a 1st time mama x

He might have developed a sensitive to the soya, half of babies with cmpa can't handle soya.
Has he started cutting his back molars? My daughters teething poos were very similar to her allergy poos
She also developed toddler diarrhoea around 2.5 and didn't have a solid poo for 12-18 months it took some elimination to determine this as a cause as there's so many things that caused her to have awful nappies. Two things that made her paediatrician think it was toddler diarrhoea was there being undigested food in her poos and she started poos early morning so there was always poo in her nappy when we changed after waking up.
It might be worth keeping a food and symptom diary to see if you can figure out any patterns
