Can someone reassure me that bumps in my DS's skull (2) are normal?

Hi thanks in advance.

I remember asking the doctor when he was little if it was normal for his ‘ridges’ to be so prominent, either side of the soft spot all way down to his ears you could, was told all normal. I then took him to the doctors just after his second birthday a couple months ago as his soft spot still hasn’t closed. Seems it’s finally closed but now to either side of the soft spot along where the ridge still is seems quite bony lumps/bumps one side more pronounced than the other. Mentioned it last week to his dr at the hospital who said toddlers heads can be bumpy but he barely felt them as ds was not in the mood.

The hospital doctor is for a seperate reason btw. Just wondering if worth getting checked again? His ridges also, though not visible now you can still feel these all way down his head is that normal? Sorry ftm who can’t help being anxious about everything

Stop asking for reassurance. It is not helping you.

You need to deal with your anxiety, not transfer it on to your child - you will do your child harm by putting them through unnecessary investigations.

I remember my youngest DD had two bony lumps on her head and my mother in law saying ‘what are these lumps?’. We said ‘it’s her head’. It’s just the way it was and it’s not like that now.
