Are Spider veins like this normal on a 14 yr old?

Hi,

My DD has a patch of spider veins on her leg, they've been there quite awhile, but not really noticeable, however they've now spread further down her leg and become more prominent and noticeable. Are they normal? I'm a little worried that they've spread and become darker, I know some spider veins are normal and I even have some however they've only developed over the last 8 years and they're just randomly dotted about and look no where near as prominent as my DD's. Would i be unreasonable to book a doctors appointment just to have her checked over? It would have to be an emergency one as everytime I've tried i can't seem to book an appointment in advance, only the 8am scramble ones.

I've had mine since at least age 19. It's not fair but I don't think it's a sign of anything untoward going on.

I tried to tan to cover them but it didn't work (obvs) so I just learned to accept them.

I have some on my leg from about her age, they didn’t continue to get worse and I never got any more

So likely to be normal then? It's just odd that they've suddenly become more dark and spread further down her leg. Her twin sister doesn't have any at all.

DD had them at 14/15 but they disappeared after a year or two. She also had bad stretch marks on her thighs but they have faded to almost nothing.
