Growing pains? Worried about 2 year old.

Hello. I was wondering whether anyone has any experience with growing pains in a 2 year old. My 2 year old has woken in the night on a few occasions recently complaining that her legs or knees hurts. This evening, she has woken up inconsolably crying saying that her knees/thighs/legs hurt. While trying to distract her, she said she couldn't walk, eventually did a few steps then got very upset saying her botttom/thighs hurt and she looked in pain trying to walk. Just before bed when using the potty she also complained that her bottom hurt when she sat down, but we didn't think much of it. She was really upset for about 45 minutes, then asked to go back to bed and has fallen asleep now. Does this sound concerning? She has a condition affecting her right leg (she was complaining that both legs hurt) that is under investigation so I'm extra worried that it's related 😖 Google tells me its growing pains, looking for an advice/experiences if anyone has had something similar with their toddlers.

Oh OP sorry to hear that. I literally came on here to make a very similar thread and saw yours. DD is 2 and just woke up complaining her leg/thigh/knee area was hurting. I wondered if she had hurt herself while we were at the park yesterday but I don't recall a fall or anything. She did run a lot so maybe she's a bit achy from that. She is very tall for her age and I was hoping her growing tall was slowing down a bit (we sometimes buy age 4-5) but maybe she's still having a bit of a spurt of it's growing pains.

Sorry I have no good advice. Hope your DC wakes up with less pain in the morning. What is their pre-existing leg problem?
