Two lumps on my daughters mons pubic, so worried!

about a week ago we noticed two lumps on my daughters mons pubis (the padded bit of your vagina) they are shaped like grapes but like large grapes. Honestly at first I thought they looked like two testicles.
they raise towards bedtime and become more pronounced. She said they don’t hurt, they feel squishy to touch. I have taken her to the doctors, only after being told to wait until the end of the month but I pressed for an urgent appointment. Doctor isn’t concerned, but also gives me 0 answers. These lumps are not in her groin to clarify.
I have taken to Google which I know we shouldn’t but can’t help it!! Cannot find anything on Google though if anyone that’s experienced similar.
any ideas?

My DD had these! I thought they were testicles. Turns out they were hernias. She had a bilateral hernia removal (a relatively simple procedure) and that was the end of it.

Thank you for the reply! Did the gp have to refer to hospital to find out if they were hernias? Is all ok now?

Hernia was my first thought. These need to be treated as a matter of urgency as the bit that pops out might get stuck. Take a photo as it may not be popping out when you get an appointment with your gp and push for an emergency appointment

Yes, the GP referred her to the hospital and they were removed a while later. All is well now.

These are most likely hernias. A quick ultrasound would give you the diagnosis. I would speak to your gp and insist on this

Possibly hernias. I had them as a child. I was operated on. I’m 49, so not sure what they do with them these days. Completely forgot about this til this post came up. I was about 4 when I had the surgery.

How old is your DD?

Why is the GP not bothered? I’d be on the phone again get an appt, I’m thinking hernia do we even have lymph nodes running there? But ffs the GP needs to see a 6 year old with lumps that have appeared.
