Sorry - warning - toddler poop picture

Hi

my nearly 2 year old has had poo like this for a few days and really awful gas (it stinks). She also projective vomitted today at day care. She’s had a cold but I’m wondering if this is a more serious bug as never see her like this before. A&E wait time is about 6 hours at the moment so goon to see a GP in the morning but thought I’d check-in here. Apologies for the graphic picture!

It sounds like your regular tummy bug really. Definitely see the dr if you're worried, but when you make the appointment let them know what it's for as they may want you to wait in isolation - taking a tummy bug in to a place with potentially vulnerable people is a not a good idea. Hope little one perks up soon

There is a stomach bug going around right now causing this type of poo.
My son had it last week, I took him as his poo was very pale and he had a temp- the doctor commented that she had seen ALOT of children with pale poo with a tummy bug.
I then caught it and had exactly the same as him and my daughter too.
definitely not an a&e job xxx

Just wanted to say my nearly 2 year old toilets is looking pretty similar also farting a lot. all fine otherwise. I believe it to be a tummy bug hoping my older one doesn’t catch it. We’ve only just recovered from a horrible flu.

if preventable I wouldn’t be sending into day care with other kids present as if this is a stomach bug she will likely pass it on. Believe advice is 48hrs after last episode.
