Proposed changeover with father of children

So I need a little advice …. The father of my three children moved two hours away and sees the children two weekends a month. He expects me to meet him half way to drop the children off …. I’m exhausted … one of my children has special needs and I don’t think it fair that I am expected to pick the children up from school on a Friday and travel what takes two hours in traffic to meet him . Any thoughts and advice? He maintains that because we’ve had this in place for three years that I have to continue to do it (no formal arrangement written up) I’m feeling resentful and think he should come further given that I care for my children 90% of the time. Any advice greatly appreciated

Can he pick up from school and you pick up from him on a Sunday? Less traffic, looks like a compromise.

He can’t pick them up because he works. Nothing taken into account that I look after the girls on sick days/appointments/after school clubs/friends play dates. Fed up.

What about still meeting half way on Friday and he can drop them off to you on Sunday? Just be honest say you’re exhausted and that you have the kids most of the time and you need him to pick up the slack more as he has them much less time.

Does he drop them on Sunday?
