I will call the practice nurse tomorrow morning but we have had to delay baby's 1yr vacations twice now. first time he had hand foot and mouth in November when he started nursery and then next appointment he was really unwell around at Xmas ( so was i).
Since starting nursery we have only had two weeks in row where he wasn't unwell or sent home at least one day from nursery. That was last week and week before. He started to get snotty again at weekend and eyes were very sticky, I think he's got conjunctivitis as well as wet sounding cough and has been very clingy and this evening ( Hope he doesn't get chesty again). Anyway his re booked vaccines are tomorrow afternoon, I'm just worried if his little body can cope with extra immune system pressure when he's clearly coming down with something else. Selfishly I feel me and DH have both only just got over our own last lots of flu and chest infections and we are not feeling as resilient, so I'm worried about having to deal with even more upset and poorly baby potentially after vaccines. What have other people done in this situation?
I definitely want him to have the vaccines but worried about him being more unwell after?
