Could anyone tell me if this is an Absence seizure

DS age 8 was diagnosed with Epilepsy just over three years ago, an EEG showed it starts in the right side of his brain then spreads causing Tonic or Clonic seizures. He’s had five over three years. He occasionally every few weeks will appear to daydream but nine times out of ten react if we tickle him. Is this a sign of an Absence seizure or simply day dreaming?

Speak to a qualified HCP. I don’t think this is the sort of thing to seek advice about from random people on the internet tbh.
