Hi,
Any advice please?
I just walked into my bathroom and noticed I left my silver hoop earings on the windowsill (slightly bigger than a 1p). 1 of them is missing and I have spent the last hour looking for it with no luck. The only other person who has entered the bathroom today is my my 20 month old toddler. I'm worried that he has swallowed it, it would have been this morning if he had and he seems fine in himself, do I need to do anything or just observe? Thanks

I really think you would know if he had swallowed it. An adult would struggle let alone a child. Watch and observe and hopefully it will turn up behind the bathroom cabinet or something!!!

I don’t get why you think they’ve swallowed it? You lost it in a bathroom it could have gone down the toilet or anything. How long was toddler unattended in there?

More likely he has picked it up, played with it and dropped it somewhere!

Hi the earing is only around the size of a 1p coin the picture might be deceiving, but hopefully it will turn up somewhere.

Hi, he walked in their on his own this morning while I was getting dressed as next to bedroom, I only thought he might have swallowed it because I've checked the whole bathroom top to toe including toilet and plug holes/bin and not there x

My son swallowed something similar when he was young. I rang 111 and they told me to keep an eye on him and it will come out naturally. They said I didn't need to check but I did and it came out in 3 or 4 days. I didn't relax till it was out. It has a sharp bit so you might need some medical advice. Good luck

Dd swallowed a small nail. A&E used a small metal detector to figure out if it was in a safe place to exit without intervention.... We were in and out. Maybe ring 111 and get an appointment... Saves waiting for hours...
