Spots on toddlers bum and a few around his mouth

Can anyone tell me what this looks like? It wasn’t there last night and this morning his bum is covered in spots! As it’s a Saturday I can’t get a GP appointment unless I call 111 so just wondering if this is something to be really worried about? Thanks

That looks like the start of Hand, Foot and Mouth spots. Very likely as it seems to be everywhere at the moment!

I would say hand foot mouth which we tend to call bum foot mouth. Always on the bum here

Hand foot and mouth OP, my youngest has just got over it. He had huge blisters on his feet. Are they off their food too and just generally very grizzly?

@diggermama he’s had a cold since last week but only come out in the spots this morning! He’s had HFM before but it was more sores around his mouth so I thought this was something different… I’ve put loads of sudocream on him and he seems ok at the moment I’ll just keep a close eye on him for now x
