Could she have fallen out of bed or hit the wall while sleeping?

Any shelves near her bed off which something could've fallen?

Lyn29 · 25/10/2024 00:37

I said that to her but she said no, she's a pretty heavy sleeper and hasn't feel out of the bed for years. I said was you tying to squeeze a spot that wasn't there but she said no. It's so strange!!

Could it be like a pressure bruise/suction?
Did she suck a cup or bottle on to her face yesterday?

Lyn29 · 25/10/2024 00:41

@ToriMJ She actually could have done that and the bruising didn't come up straight away. I know I'm being silly it's just that nothing was there when I put her to bed and I was surprised in the morning!

That would be my guess, if it looks like a hicky sort of under skin bruise. Easy done at that age with a drinks bottle etc. Grin

Almost the same thing happened to my 11 (almost 12) year old daughter a few weeks ago! She has no idea how it happened either but was generally unwell for a few days afterwards, too with sniffles/cold type symptoms. It was so strange.
