Hand foot and mouth . What to do?

Hi DC is not quite 12 months old. Last couple of nights he's not been sleeping so well. Yesterday I noticed a blister on his lower lip and this morning he's getting lots of spots/ blisters coming up on his legs and a few on his wrists. None on torso or back.
I think it's hand foot and mouth as I known it's going around my area.
Appart from caring for Little one is there anything I need to do?
Is it worth getting it seen by Dr and diagnosised properly?
Should I tell people I have seen recently?
Should we isolated at home or is it OK to go out if we are good with hand hygiene?
Wash everything on high wash starting now or at end.

Sorry for silly questions. I not had much sleep last night
Thank-you

you can ring nhs direct if you just want advice but unsure about ringing doctor. Its tricky its best to see doctor generally with kids but if its hand foot and mouths its very contagious .You dont want to risk infecting the vulnerable

Thanks @rosydreams . I'm very happy to self care at home but I'm a ftm and literally have no child health experience other than Google! My mum is older and had no idea what hand foot and mouth was when I asked her last night. I don't want to waste Dr's time etc.
It's big blisters on legs but not actually on feet or hands. He's sticking his tongue out and making funny mouth sucky noises so I think he has a sore throat.
Nhs website suggests that hand foot and mouth is nothing to worry dr about like chicken pox?
