Why is my baby throwing up every night since Monday night?

Hi,

My baby (10 months) who attends nursery has been throwing up every night since Monday. On Thursday she was throwing up all day and I called the GP who said it was gastroenteritis since then I was advised to just try and offer her liquids as on Thursday she was bringing up almost everything she was having

It seems as though she isn't throwing up straight away after eating or drinking, she keeps throwing up the majority of what she had during the day at night. What could be causing it to come out at night? Also should she still be throwing up today if this started on Monday night?

Is she coughing a lot? Mine tend to be sick at night when lying down and then having a coughing fit and vomiting after that.

Either way though, if she's showing any signs of dehydration such as a reduction in wet nappies she needs to be reassessed urgently.
