Hello everyone
My 16 year old has had portal hypertension and varices since he was a young child He's had shunt surgery and beta blockers but is still having regular bleeds We've been told the only option left is a liver transplant Does anyone have any happy stories about successful liver transplants where you have lived a long time also his big dream is to play football, even if it's just semi professional, does anybody know if this would be in the realm of possibility if you've had a liver transplant
