How were your babies after their 8 week jabs?

I'm a first time mum and my baby is due his first jabs. I'm so worried about him being poorly afterwards 😔
How bad was it in your experience? Did they get a fever or particularly upset and fussy? Any tips to help him feel better? What should we expect?

Thanks x

Mine slept loads immediately after and was extra snoozy for about 24 hours. Ran a slight fever and was off her bottles. Absolutely fine after that though!

Mine was a little irritable, slight temperature and extra sleepy. She was back to normal within 48 hours.

DS1 just slept for hours and hours. I think he was extra sleepy for a couple of days. DS2 had a temperature and screamed all day pretty much.

My baby was fine, we gave him the three doses of calpol suggested and he slept a lot. He was worse for the 16 week jabs, cried the rest of the day, but fine the day after.

Make sure you have some calpol in and out the baby in clothes you can easily put on. The jab goes in the leg and DS really screamed after, I was grateful not to be messing about with complicated clothes.

My first DS was ok until a few hours later, he screamed the house down, I soon made sure I had Calpol on hand afterwards, you used to be able to get small travel sachets.
