I only have the one toddler so haven't had any experience with these two viruses but I've been to see 3 doctors because the first one couldn't tell me what the spots were and the other two said hand foot and mouth but they're all up her arms and legs, all around the nappy area and there are a couple on her hands but not palms, and a couple on the soles of her feet, she has none on her torso and neck or back, some on the roof of her mouth and they are starting to blister and some are starting to scab. I've been Googling pictures to try and find the difference but they both look very similar and I figured hfm only affected the hands feet and mouth, I'll attach some photos of the spots, I guess it doesn't matter which one of them it is and there's nothing that can be done but it would be nice to know
