Does anyone know what this rash is and how to treat?

Apologies as this is the second time I'm making a thread about this. My son has had these marks for over a month. Gp has been no use as they've only done phone consults and advised to get it checked by pharmacist. I did this and the pharmacist seemed unsure but thought it may be a fungal infection due to sweating (my toddler is a massive sweater) and sold me some daktarin cream. It's been over two weeks and I've not seen any improvements. Instead the marks have increased in number and in size and sometimes are a brighter red than before. A month ago my son didn't seem bothered by me applying any cream but now his reaction indicates it may be hurting him when I apply the daktarin. I am going to contact the GP again and ask for a face to face consult but it's really hard to get an appointment so I'm hoping for some advice from here. It's slightly rough to touch but it doesn't look like eczema to me. I've been careful wen applying the daktarin to limit the chances of it spreading if it is a fungal infection. I've also dabbed it with diluted dettol and put sudocreme on it several times but nothing is making it better.

It looks like my son's eczema which sometimes gets infected - we use a combination of Eumovate and Bactroban, then I apply Aquaphor to help heal which normally works. We also give piriton. When bathing and washing we use Oilatum junior. Double rinse his clothes when washing too. Some of the above creams can only be prescribed for children, so maybe ask for a change in GP and suggest trying some of the above.

I'd also request an allergy test / Consultant to see if thats the cause.

I am prescribed epimax for moisturising and have used aveeno to bathe him since birth. I will start double rinsing his clothes to see if that helps. I'll see what the doc says about the other medications you mentioned but they can be so dismissive sometimes. Thanku
