My baby will be 3 months old when we go to America (we live in the UK) I am worried about to what water to use for her bottles. Boiled tap water? Or boiled bottled water? Any advise from anyone who has visited America with a formula fed baby?

Just to say that kettles take a LONG time to boil in the US as their power (voltage?) is a lot lower than ours. It’s why you don’t get them in hotels, in fact in all my years of going there I’ve never seen one.

Good point actually! In a hotel you’ll likely get a coffee machine, never seen a kettle. In an air bnb I highly doubt you’ll get an electric kettle either, thinking about it I’ve never seen one in an American home. There might be a stovetop kettle but if not then you can use the microwave to boil water. That’s how most Americans seem to make tea and microwaves are much more common as they’re usually combined with the extractor. So chances are any rental house will have one. But OP if you’re staying in hotels getting boiling water is likely to be a PITA so if you’re not happy with room temp distilled water to make your bottles then you may want to bring ready made.
