Greetings to all, first time parent here with no experience so everything seems weird.
Male baby, advanced in milestones suddenly by entering 14 month of age became kind a more serious and reserved for past few days:
- Smiling less (some jokes we did to him now he look as we are stupid)
- When he stare to object I have a feeling he is looking through them at moments, like he is thinking deeply about something
- Less eye contact when held, however he still maintains it when you talk to him from normal distance or when he needs something
- Less energy (tiredness)
- Less responsiveness on name (he was very responsive, now there are moments he want respond at all)
I cannot say he lost any milestones, but obviously I am scared of regression at this age.
Just wondering how is experience of your parents at this age? My wife told me he is probably on some strong developmental jump, but still I am overthinking.
We will see pediatric next week btw.
