Health Anxiety, centering on toddler

Not officially diagnosed, but I know I have health anxiety. It appeared after the trauma of my mum passing away from cancer - 6 months from her diagnosis to her death. Now whenever my 4 year old gets a cough, I get on edge. He also seemed to have a chronic cough from December last year till March, then early April had to be admitted for a chest infection (which fuelled the fire even more).

Just yesterday my husband said he didn't feel the greatest and had a cough, and sore head. Today, he sounds congested. Last night, my son started coughing a bit and has coughed about 3 times today. He's also had a blocked/congested nose for about 2 weeks now. I'm an overthinker as it is.

My head immediately gets worried if it might be covid (2 years ago that was the first symptom that popped up when I had it). Is there anything anyone would recommend to ease this overactive brain?

Also while we're on the topic of sore throats, has anyone given their kids Tonstix and does it help? Is there any other remedies you give your children that helps other than the usual 'keep hydrated' etc?

Thanks so much ❤️
