Diabetes? Or my health anxiety?

DD aged 3 has had sweet smelling breath for a couple of weeks.
On Monday she woke up and was totally out of it. White as a sheet and shaking. She had some milk, which came back up. Perked up after some toast and was then fine.
She's wet through her night nappy a few nights in a row, but doesn't seem to be excessively drinking.
Obviously when I Google the above it's saying diabetes, and it's got me worried.
Anyone else been in this situation? I'm mindful that I might be over thinking due to my health anxiety.

DD has T1 diabetes, diagnosed at 8 when I thought she had a UTI. Went to the GP & sent straight to hospital.

If it is diabetes, you can't hang around so do get her blood sugar checked. It's very quick - just a finger-prick. Though the sweet breath would suggest high blood sugar while needing a snack to come right after waking up sounds like the opposite!

My type 1 child was drinking excessively and wetting the bed. Sugar levels will be high
as the body won’t be producing enough insulin. Agree that needing a snack as shaky would suggest the opposite. If you’re concerned then the way to check is by a finger prick test to check glucose levels.

Thank you both. Finger prick test done by nurse at gp surgery earlier and it was 5.5, so all ok. Thank you.
