Rash on left side of 3 year olds abdomen

My son is 3 and half and lately has waking up with these spots on his belly and ribs, they sometimes go to under his armpit, they're not every day but always in different places on the left side of his body. No where else but the left side. They don't itch or nothing.
Anyone got any idea what they could be?

Shingles? Has he been ill recently?

No illness syptoms, no high temp or nothing like that

Do they stay or is he waking up with more each day?

Have you checked the bedding? Not bed bugs is it… Looks like gnat bites to me.

They clear after a day or 2 and then come back in different places

I did think the same I checked the bedding, I've sprayed the bed, it's a new matress not even 1 years old. The other day he also slept in my bed which I've had 2 weeks and he came out in them

It takes a few days for the marks to show if it’s bed bugs. You might see blood on the sheets, small black dots. Has he slept anywhere else or could’ve picked them up from a towel elsewhere.
