My daughter was given tetracycline ( lymecycline) for acne.
These came as capsules, but she couldn't swallow them so took the powder out and took it like that for 2 months ( we told the gp this)
All was ok for about 6 weeks until When she started to complain about feeling nauseous.
She stopped the antibiotics after 8 weeks exactly a week ago as he feels sick and like having heartburn or feeling something in her throat.
Now for about a week she gets this weird nauseous feeling when she feels she needs and can't burp and even if she burps and relieves it, the nausea returns few minutes later and same repeats every evening/ night, she sits in her bed until 2am crying that she needs to burp but can't.
Obviously ww will go to GP but we are away for 14 days so can't go Dr.
I bought her some strong prebiotic and prebiotic here, it seemed working immediately but symptoms returned after few days?
She has no any other issues, just the non burping feeling.
She is scared to drink or eat everything, also this only happens at evenings. She seems OK during the day.
I'm worried that the antibiotics seriously damaged her stomach, as I spoke to someone here locally and that's what they suggested. Please advice kindly.

@pico1 she first used to take them around 6pm after dinner, then she moved it later and later just before bed time 9am, I think that's what made it worse.

It probably would have done TBH. The food would have protected the stomach lining. By the time 9pm came around, the stomach would have been pretty empty and the active ingredients would have been in contact with the stomach wall.
