My child burp a lot, and it feels like strong one where everyone hears. He has no other symptoms and he is healthy.
The burps even happens when he is not eating or drinking ? they not deliberate burps because he gets annoyed when they happen. He has no pain or discomfort!
anyone’s child similar and found the cause of it ?
he is 5 years old!

I would suspect food intolerance. Have you tried keeping a diary? My ds was like yours until I worked out that he was intolerant to lactose.

He is already dairy, egg and soya intolerant and doesn’t have none in his diet. The issue is the burping started happening this month and before he had no issues !

Try probiotics

Hi, my son has just started doing the same about two weeks ago out of nowhere. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
Thanks very much,
Claire

Yes he was abit blocked up. When you blocked up, the faecal loading put pressure in stomach and can make you burp easily. I upped his prune, pear and water. As well as exercise. And increase his water intake. And I stopped offering water with food. I give him a full cup of water 30 mins after his meals and he can drink any other time. He doesn’t burp at all now
and I tried baby drops biogia probiotic ( even though he is 5 years old/ consultant recommended it and said it should work same )

Oh that’s so interesting, thanks so much for that. The GP yesterday didn’t have much advice so great to get a few tips. I’ll try those. Thanks for getting back to me!
