Baby is 15 weeks / 3.5 months old. Formula fed. What is this dark coloured worm-like thing in the nappy?

does this look like normal formula fed baby poo? Sometimes it has a distinct (awful) smell but i’m not sure if this is related to changing nappy brand recently.
