Crap. I am not sure if my soon to be 2yo drank from this awful bowl or not. I went in to grab something and saw him carrying the bowl splashing it everywhere. We live in a rural area and have foxes, mice, rat, deer etc.

I asked her whether she drank from it and she said yes first but then said no.

Terrified.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Kids do weird shit & eat/drink weird garden crap like snails etc.

How long ago was this?

hopefully someone (medical) will be a long to tell you what to get her to drink or something.

you could cal 111??

personally I'd just keep an eye on her with my fingers crossed & hope she didn't/or if she did is ok. I'd get the sick bowl ready and a bunch of old towels & clean set of bed linen.

I hope she does feel/get ill.

I seriously wouldn't worry about this. Toddlers eat/drink far worse and survive

Be reet. My kids have all had a chew on a dog toy or shared other stuff with pets.
If he gets D&V treat accordingly.

My Dd once ate a snail, it'll be fine.

It's not the contact with the dogs saliva that I am worried about but possibility of rodents drinking that water at night. And the water is super stale so that could mean bacteria grew there

I would keep a close eye on her, bless! Get the towels and spare bedding ready and keep an eye on her temperature. I understand your concern. I would phone 111 for advice just to be sure.
Hope all goes OK.

It's been three hours. I think she is getting a bit warm but she often has colds/bugs from the nursery. Feeling so much guilt and dread!
Stupid rubbish could have waited till DH was back home.
