What is this line of whiteheads?

Does anyone know what this might be, it's a line of tiny spots on my daughter's nose.

They have been there for a while, at least 6 months, but now she has a light Summer tan I notice them a lot.

I have never tried to squeeze them as I don't think they are normal spots.

Can anyone help?

What is this line of whiteheads?

Are you sure they are spots and not a scratch that has lightly scarred?

They look like milia spots

Looks like milia.

I had these exact spots as a child 9-17!!! No idea what they were or are but they just went when I was 18. I saw the doctor but they said they were nothing to worry about - a perfect straight line across the bridge of my nose! my
mum used to squeeze them 😂

Wow @BathsAreBliss that's so strange you had them too. Amazing

And thanks everyone for the input, will see what Doc says but not holding our much hope for a clearer diagnosis

Look like milia, which need pricking to extract, then easy to get out gently

I had this as a child! Can't remember when it went but obviously did sometime in my mid/late teens - I just remember the line across my nose - a few people commented on it I seem to remember but my parents never worried about or did anything about it. Would be interesting to know why it happens though!

PattyDuckface · 14/07/2024 23:27

Yes, why are they across the nose and why are they in such a perfect line.

Yes, why are they across the nose and why are they in such a perfect line.

Please let us know what the doc says! I’m genuinely intrigued to find out what they were!
